October 5th, 2011 Tara Group and the Department of Defense presented new products such as the first Montenegrin weapons Tara TM-9 Pistol (9 mm) and Tara TM-4 Assault Rifle (5.56 mm) and a rocket engine for the airplane L39. Furthermore we promoted thirty other products developed over the past three years in the factories of the company. The Open Days 2011 were attended by numerous guests including, Deputy Prime Minister Duško Marković and mayors of several northern municipalities. Minister Boro Vučinić fired the first shots of the pistol and assault rifle. In gratitude for the support of the Government, 100 pistols and 10 assault rifles were donated to special units of the Army & Police of Montenegro. Vijesti online (news article, croatian) |
